While the story itself isn't breaking any new ground, the world that Bug Fables takes place in is incredibly charming. The three characters grow on you as the game progresses, and while the dialogue isn't exactly hilarious, it's amusing, well-written, Mos Eisley Spaceport full of bug-related puns, and walks the fine line between straight-laced fantasy and fourth-wall-breaking humor. It takes a little while for the plot to get rolling, but once it picks up, it becomes an excellent throwback to RPG narratives of the 16 and 32-bit

Compared to the likes of Oblivion , Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning focused on making engaging combat with incredibly flexible character customization. This game did flexible classes before Skyrim did. The setting had great care put into it, but it is such a shame this series never took off or got a sequel.

Wreckless-The_Yakuza_Missions.jpgWith each passing year, game trailers seem to leap forward in terms of style, presentation, and emotional weight. Whether it's with a teaser to introduce a new game, a cinematic to unveil some plot points and characters, or a gameplay trailer to showcase new technology; trailers have the opportunity to get the industry buzzing about upcoming tit

This will especially be the case if you're a fan of the first Paper Mario game or its sequel Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door . Bug Fables does everything in its power to be a spiritual successor to those games, and it comes insanely close to being a complete succ

Despite the lacking features the developers promised, Fable managed to carve its own fanbase thanks to its unique sense of style and humor. Combat was engaging, letting players choose between a mage, fighter, or ranged playstyle. If this series got a second chance and had the ability to implement all of its promised features, it would be one of the most highly praised RPGs of this decade.

It's also worth noting that Playground is still in the process of hiring more staff and building a team so a close launch date is certainly out of the question, lest another studio is secretly working on the project. It's also very possible that Fable 4 is being held back so it could launch for the company's next-gen console.

"Just finishing our final E3 rehearsal here with the team in Redmond. Feel really good about the briefing. Lots to show. We have 14 Xbox Game Studios games in the show this year, more first party games than we've ever had in the show," he'd tweeted ahead of E3 . "Fun times."

Here's a fun bit of information - did you know that modders have continued to support Madden 08 for ten years after it was created? While this is no doubt an impressive feat, it has been done on PC before; but why would a game like Madden 08 receive this same treatm

As 2019 wraps up, there's no denying that this has been an incredible year for both games and for game trailers. It's exciting to speculate about what 2020 will bring to the table and we're already looking forward to what trailers will arrive as the launch of next-gen consoles rapidly approac

Bug Fables has a lot of side quests you can take on for extra money, medals, or items, but it doesn't have an efficient way of tracking them. When you accept a side quest from the various mission boards, you sometimes have to talk to the NPC to start them. Except once you speak with them and they tell you where to go, the side quest doesn't update in your logbook and it doesn't appear on your map. So, if you happened to decide to save a side quest for later or turn the game off, it's easy to forget where you were supposed to go. This means that you might have to wander around until you find the missing NPC, which seems like something that could have been avoided by placing some markers on your

Nintendo revolutionized the platforming genre with every entry in the Super Mario series, either adding innovative features or refining mechanics . Rare had their own platformer called Banjo-Kazooie that was equally as impressive to play.

Other leaks spoke to a first/third-person perspective, which seemed pretty exciting - there was a reveal on a completely open world and a fresh multiplayer too. The game is also said to run on Unreal Engine, while players will be able to grow their hero status without paying attention to the main quest, although the building of towns could impact it in some way. Rather not so excitingly, it was also claimed that there would be no firearms whatsoever, but that's hardly supposed to be an issue.

Fans had probably given up on the Fable series and that was probably fair as it did seem dead. In the run-up to E3, though, rumors began swirling, with Fable 4 being talked up as leaks emerged. Naturally, there was an expectation, especially with the Microsoft crew informing us beforehand that they would have lots in store at the event. They were certainly telling the truth about that, but we imagine lots of Fable fans were let down by the complete blank.

You play as a team of three bugs who join the Explorers Guild in order to find the Sapling and gain fortune and glory. There's the chivalrous, good-natured beetle, Kabbu; the overzealous, money-hungry bee, Vi; and the mysterious, amnesiac moth, Leif (because every RPG needs someone with amnesia.) Through fate, these three are bonded together and venture through the various lands of Bugaria, hunting down artifacts that will hopefully reveal the location of the Everlasting Sapl
